3 Oaks started in 2005 as primarily a property development company buying property, upgrading/sub-dividing and selling. However, in response to the changing market conditions in 2007, the strategy was to switch to marketing ourselves as main contractors in the residential market in the northern suburbs of Johannesburg.

From there we have grown from a small business to currently a medium size business with a turnover of more than R15 million in the 2010/2011 financial year for the group.  We employ in the region of 40 staff and have at any point in time another 100 sub-contractors working on our various sites.

Due to the experience gained over the last few years we have now started focusing 50% of our business on the commercial market as we now have the necessary systems and staff in place to handle these types of projects.
